Product Description Introducing our new non-porous enameled Stoneware Crock, which offers the same great features as our other stoneware products. We call it a "crock", but it is much more than that. It can be used to serve ice cream at a birthday party, fill with ice at your next cocktail party, or create a centerpiece by adding your favorite flowers!About Le Creuset... Since 1925, artisans have been crafting Le Creuset cookware in the French village of Fresnoy Le Grand. Each piece of Le Creuset cast iron cookware is handcast, polished, double enamel-coated and then fired, resulting in some of the finest quality cookware available. Cast iron is one of the best materials for distributing heat gently and thoroughly and is ideal for induction ranges. The strong enamel coating will not absorb odors or flavors, and is easy to clean. Heavy lids securely seal in moisture and flavor. Le Creuset cookware comes in a variety of sizes, colors and styles to match any kitchen and cooking preference. So lasting, you'll pass it on to the next generation of promising cooks.

Perfect! August 26, 2010 Evalis Hardy (El Paso, TX) There is not much to say about an utensil holder however, there are a few useful things someone can share:
Size: If you own utensils with large handels such as Kitcheiand and Cuisinart, this is perfect. I just transfered all of my utensils from a Kitchen aid holder to this one. I have space for more!
Color: I two tone. Darker on the bottom and lighter on the top. The top matches perfectly with my utensils and the bottom goes amazingly with my Pfaltzgraff Sicily dinnerware.
If you are willing to spend the money, do so. Is worth it!
One thing I didn't like, the horrible smell it has. Had to wash it few times before it went away. Maybe has something to do with te paint or the packaging. Not sure.
You can empty out an entire drawer with this thing! July 1, 2010 Mrs. J (La Mesa, CA) This just arrived today and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!! I'm sure you could also bake something in here but it will take me a lifetime to figure out what :) This is a beautiful, LARGE Le Creuset piece, in their current red with it's lovely bright red on top fading to a very dark red ; it changes colors about half-way down. My kitchen was all in blue but I just fell in love with this red color and got matching towels - no regrets :) I put 20 utensils in here and they all fit comfortably with just a minute's tweaking. This crock is for your large utensils, not the small ones (i.e., garlic press, basting brush, can opener); you won't be able to see those small ones from the top which I would think would be annoying. Also, IF YOU ARE NOT A COOK, YOU WILL NOT LIKE THIS CROCK. For example, if you just have the standard stuff for occasional baking or making pasta (I can relate; that was me for a very long time). It will be way too big and all of your stuff will slide down and be side-ways and not look as cute. You know, if you have one or two spatulas, a few spoons, maybe a slotted spoon and maybe a whisk. Then don't get this jar. But if you really love to cook and have a GAZILLION large/regular sized utensils, YOU WILL LOVE THIS.
what's not to love? June 10, 2010 Noodles McGuire As we started to accumulate kitchen utensils and gadgets, we ran out of drawer space (I'm sure many of you can relate). Well, this crock can easily free up an entire drawer all by itself. It measures about 6 inches high, just under 7 inches across the top, and 1/4 inch thick. It's very sturdy... after a half year of clanging utensils and gadgets in and out of it, not one ding or chip. Just FYI, "Le Creuset" is stamped into the bottom, and appears in raised letters on the side of the crock. NOTE: we bought the kiwi green to match our kiwi green Le Creuset dutch oven... the kiwi green of the crock is a bit darker/more muted than the kiwi green of the dutch oven, but still a great match.
Le Creuset Utensil Holder: Cobalt May 6, 2010 Laurece M. Kausch (San Juan Capistrano, CA) This holder is quite large and will hold many utensils. Beautiful glazing- darker blue on bottom to a lighter shade above.
A nice surprise April 23, 2010 J. Julia I originally wanted a wooden utensil holder but my husband ordered this one. At the beginning I was a little worried that it might not look good with my kitchen, but it came with a surprise. It is such a large utensil that can hold all of my wooden utensils. It looks fashionable and neat, nicely painted, well designed, easy to clean. This was my first Le Creuset purchase and I just fell in love with their products ever since.
