I was looking for something that was sturdy but would go with the stainless appliances I had just purchased. This did the trick! It doesn't tip and allows me to tear off one paper towel at a time.

I never thought there would be a day where a towel holder would make such a difference in my life. Alas, that day has come (I don't know what that says about my personal life, but meh). I might be a bit biased because my previous towel holder was mounted on an outta-my-arm-range wall, was crooked, and was falling apart - but that doesn't change the fact that this towel holder performs marvelously. I can easily one hand tear the sheets off and if it ever does get out of alignment (which isn't common), the fix is simply turning the roll a few inches. It's not a pain because I do it second nature. It looks great on the counter top and meets all of my expectations.

this is good for the price. If the roll of paper towel is too big, it doesn't snap back correctly. Other than that, works well.
